Tour Overview

The Day Trip Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou is a long day, but it shows you two sides of Morocco without an overnight stay. It suits travelers short on time who still want to see the mountains and the kasbah country. Your private driver follows the winding road up to Tizi n'Tichka, at about 2,260 metres, with stops at viewpoints and small Amazigh villages. On the southern slope the land turns dry and red. At Aït Ben Haddou, a local guide takes you through the fortified village, a UNESCO site and a familiar backdrop from many films. You climb to the old granary at the top for wide views of the valley.

Mountain passes and an old caravan village, in one well-paced day.
